Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how BeautifyImage ("we", "us", or "our") handles user privacy. BeautifyImage is a free, fully online image editor for creating beautiful visuals — you can add backgrounds, shadows, frames, text, and effects to any image directly in your browser, with no software install required.
Our Core Principle: BeautifyImage is free to use and requires no account for editing. Your privacy is our top priority, and we collect as little personal information as possible.
What We Collect
BeautifyImage is designed to work without forcing you to share personal information:
- Images you edit: Editing runs in your browser. By default, your images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for processing. If you choose to create an account to keep projects available across devices, the images you explicitly save to your account are stored as needed to provide that feature.
- Account information (optional): Only if you choose to register — an email address used to identify your account and, where applicable, to recover access.
- Essential cookies: Required for security, authentication, and session management (see our Cookie Policy).
- Anonymous analytics: With your consent, we use privacy-friendly analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization) to understand how the site is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify you.
We do not collect:
- ❌ Your images for advertising or training purposes
- ❌ Usage habits beyond anonymous, aggregated analytics
- ❌ Sensitive personal information unrelated to operating the service
About Image Processing
BeautifyImage processes your images in your browser. This means:
- ✅ Editing happens locally on your device by default
- ✅ We do not upload your images to cloud servers for editing
- ✅ Your image content stays private to you
- ✅ Images are only stored if you explicitly choose to save a project to your account
About Purchases
BeautifyImage is free to use, with all editing tools available at no cost and no watermark on exports. We do not currently sell a paid plan, so no payment information is collected through the editor.
If paid features are introduced in the future, payment processing would be handled by a PCI-compliant provider (such as Stripe), and only the information needed to complete the purchase would be collected.
Third-Party Services
Our website may use the following third-party services:
| Service Type | Provider | Purpose | Data Notes |

| Website Analytics | Google Analytics | Anonymous visit statistics | Aggregated and anonymized; IP anonymization enabled |
| Customer Support | Intercom | Website customer service | Optional; requires you to initiate contact |
Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
